Smartphone game Fate/Grand Order has started revealing the Servant characters that will play key roles in the upcoming “Part 2” through a series of 15-second commercials that are also being made available online.

Two will be revealed each week for four weeks, for a total of eight characters. The first two to be revealed were Saber (designed by Hou and voiced by Mori Nanako) and Rider (designed by Ginka and voiced by Masuda Toshiki).

Fate/Grand Order is a smartphone game spinoff of Type Moon’s popular Fate series, which revolves around mages summoning Servants, powerful familiars that are copies of historical and mythological figures like King Arthur and Joan of Arc. The story to Fate/Grand Order’s first part concluded at the end of 2016 with the defeat of a threat that aimed to annihilate human history, and the short prologue to part 2, in which a new threat revealed itself and decimated the protagonists’ home base, was released at the end of 2017. The first chapter of part 2 is scheduled for release in spring 2018.
