Konami has announced release detrails for the Japanese versions of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner M∀RS (known in Japan as Anubis: Zone of the Enders M∀RS). The game will be released physically on the PS4 and digitally on the PS4 and PC (Steam) on 6th September 2018, with the regular versions (both physical and digital) priced at 4,980 yen before tax, and the physical limited edition priced a 8,980 yen before tax.
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner M∀RS is a remastered version of the 2003 PS2 game Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, featuring 4K and VR support. Development is being handled by Konami and Cygames. A demo version is to be released on PSN in the near future.
M∀RS also features some new content, including a new “pro” control mode, a new “very easy” difficulty mode, a minimap, an expanded tutorial, and bonus content including a model viewer and cutscene playback mode.
The limited edition Premium Package version of the game, which will only be available for the PS4, will come with a 200 page booklet featuring guest illustrations, a Blu-Ray disc with various videos recorded in Dolby Atmos, and a special box.
