Sega Interactive has announced an event to celebrate the 2 August 2018 release of Border Break for the PS4 to be held at Bellesalle Akihabara on 1-2 August 2018. This event will also be where the completed Border Break 1/1 model kit will be revealed.

The 1/1 model kit was made by Kotobukiya, and as of July 2018 is the biggest plastic model kit in history. The kit is of the Border Break “Blast Runner” mech Kisei Kuushiki and when completed will stand at roughly 5 meters tall.
Voice actresses Takatsuki Kanako and Asahina Madoka will appear, and the completed 1/1 model kit, assembled from parts previously put on display in early July, will be revealed on the first day. The game itself will be showed off on the second day. There will also be merchandise and opportunities for the public to try out demos of the game at the vent.
