The trailer to the upcoming Dragon Quest movie, Dragon Quest: Your Story, was revealed on April 4th 2019.

The movie, done in full 3D CG, is based on Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride, and will open in theatres in Japan on 2nd August 2019.
The Japanese voice cast has been announced as follows (localised versions of the character names from the English releases of the games are in parantheses):
- Protagonist Luca: Satou Takeru
- Bianca: Arimura Kasumi
- Flora (Nera): Haru
- Henry (Harry): Sakaguchi Kentarou
- Papas (Pankraz): Yamada Takayuki
- Unannounced roles: Kendo Kobayashi, Furuta Arata, Matsuo Suzuki, Yamadera Kouichi, Iura Arata, Kaku Chikako, Yoshida Koutarou
