Kadokawa Games has announced details on the contents of the day 1 and day 2 patches for upcoming mecha SRPG Relayer (PS5/PS4), which will be released worldwide (Japan included) on 24 March 2022.

Official website (JP):

Day 1 Patch

The patch makes changes to which consider feedback from players after the release of the demo on 25 February 2022, and will be available from the game’s release. This includes the pre-ordered download version’s early access release on 21 March 2022.

The patch primarily makes the two changes listed below:

Improved visibility for movement squares that overlap with squares that can be attacked by enemies
Previously, movement squares would be cancelled out by the danger squares: The update adds blue highlights to the danger squares that overlap with movement squares.

A confirmation for auto mode in battle
The game asks for confirmation when activating auto mode in battle.

Day 2 Patch

The day 2 patch will be available on 25 March 2022 and covers the following:

Improved controls and visibility for Star Cubes
The patch makes it easier to navigate Star Cubes using the D-pad or left stick, makes it easier to see the starting points of each Star Cube, and displays skill and ability names in red when zoomed out.

Additional story sequence auto mode speed options
New speed options will be added to the auto mode for story sequences, which progress story sequences at a faster rate, skipping voiced lines if they are longer than the determined period.

Balance changes to hard and very hard
Hard and very hard difficulties were made harder based on feedback for the demo.

Fixes to issues with some characters’ Star Cubes
The issue where some characters such as Milky Way did not have Star Cube abilities applied is fixed with the patch.
