Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2023 Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival) ～8th Anniversary～ was held from 29-30 July 2023 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture, Japan.
The annual event, celebrating Fate/Grand Order, had been held online in 2020-2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and had only returned to a physical venue with 2022’s 7th anniversary event.
2023’s main theme was “summer festival”, with art and attractions of the venue dedicated to looking like a traditional Japanese summer festival.

Welcome Road
The entrance to FGO Fes 2023 featured a an arch with several life-sized Servant panels and multiple screens welcoming visitors.
Kigurumi and Cosplayers
Kigurumi of the Manga de Wakaru FGO series and official cosplayers were at the event as usual.
Heroic Spirit Nebuta
Nebuta are large elaborate lantern floats that are paraded around at the center of some regional festivals in Japan. Though not paraded around, a specially-made nebuta 6 meters wide and 6.5 meters tall was the centerpiece of FGO Fes 2023.
Games
The event had several games, some based on attractions tradtionally found at Japanese summer festivals, where visitors could attempt to win prizes such as stickers and marbles.
