Machine Child release date and details announced

Legendary illustrator, mangaka and game creator Oyari Ashito has announced that upcoming PC game Machine Child, which has been in development by his doujin circle Shoujo Kishidan for over nine years, will be released on 5th September 2025 in Japanese on DLsite, with a Steam version that includes English and Chinese language support but has some censorship in the graphics due to platform restrictions planned for a later date (as of yet unannounced). The game is for Windows 7/8/10/11. The digital soundtrack, composed by Hoashi Keigo, will also be released on 11/5.

Machine Child is a raising simulation heavily inspired by the Princess Maker series in which the player raises one of three girls – Florine, Cordelia, or Chloe – each with a distinct personality and 22 different endings based on the major arcana of the tarot.

The gameplay centers around weekly planning and decision-making that influences their daughter’s growth. Activities include urban outings, vacations, and adventures. These game’s system is structured around a skill tree and social connection mechanics that impact event progression, parameters, and endings.
