Tokyo Game Show 2026 was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture from 17-20 September 2026. The event had 1138 exhibitors and 3999 booths, and was initially planned to run for five days for the first time in the event’s history, echoed by the catchphrase of “The Longest Five Days of Nonstop Play” – Unfortunately, the fifth day (21 September) was canceled due to a typhoon approaching Tokyo.
